Though the years I’ve realized that creating comes from information. Listening for it and understanding what you hear leads to the big idea.

Purposeful. Targeted. Successful.

Visual Design. Print Design. Brand Design.
Brand Marketing. Campaign Development. Content Strategy. Packaging Design. Graphic Design. Production Design.

BPO - Case Study

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, like many other orchestras, is faced with a similar issue…their customers…well, sometimes don’t come back permanently.

Always Shooting for 100% - Case Study

100% is obviously the best. Who doesn’t want 100%?
Who says, “Can I get 10% please?”

Ubr

So this was Ubr before Uber was Uber. Besides this isn’t ride-sharing, they’re healthful cookies.

This was the development and launch of a brand. Complete with a whole line of bulk packaging for B2B as well as consumer packaging and a comprehensive signage program for retail.

Mercy Flight

While I have written dozens of commercials, directed and co-directed many as well, I have produced even more. The one that stands out to me is Mercy Flight. I won an award for it, yet greater than that was the outcome in awareness and fund-raising that I am most proud of.

Tasked to create a video that showed “a mission” - the term used for a life-saving flight - of this air ambulance during the fundraising gala, we spared no expense (in a limited budget) and got pretty creative to pull this off. Closing roads, sourcing vehicles, employing a director and crew, getting assistance from a highway department and local all-volunteer fire company, scheduling multiple fly-ins at Children’s Hospital, two helicopters, talent, scripts, permits, meals, oh… and making sure no one got hurt for real.

150 people on set all working in concert to create an amazing video that created tears from the viewers and a deeper understanding of the importance of Mercy Flight. While there are too many stories to write about this two-day shoot, I can say it went off without a hitch and I’d be happy to share more about it in person.
