Just call me Greg.
The reason I say, “Just call me Greg” is because most people cannot pronounce my last name. Ever since my first day in grade school, teachers, friends…everyone has butchered my last name. It’s okay though.
I went to university and received my BFA in Graphic Design. I had a remarkable professor who directed me toward Swiss Design. Minimalism. He even studied in part at Bauhaus, which was like the Holy Grail of design for us students. This became the foundation of my career’s work.
From the moment of graduation I started realizing that being a Graphic Designer was not going to pay the bills or offer me the level of interest I had for the “big idea.” I started a personal journey to understand what motivated people to make decisions in buying and belonging. But, more than that, I figured out that through listening and understanding on a deeper level, I could make “suggestions” to compel people to act through the words and visuals I presented to them.
Marketing and advertising became my path. Incorporating my minimalist design, my newfound interest in how to engage different markets and my people skills and I was off to the races. I attained the level of Creative Director and Brand Manager at multi-billion dollar corporations. I consulted businesses large and small to attain their goals. I managed and mentored some of the most wonderful and talented creative people (whom I hope are still trudging forward in their creative careers).
“Marketing and Advertising became my path. And, I got good at it!”
Most of all, I pride myself knowing that I have worked on every medium in our industry (print, broadcast, outdoor, social, experiential, packaging, etc.) and I have performed many of the roles (Creative Director, Art Director, Director, Food Stylist, Copywriter, Creative Strategist, Producer, Production Designer and Graphic Designer) which gives me the knowledge and empathy to work with others, offering them respect and understanding. While I have worked with some of the world’s best brands, including Walmart, Rich Products, Wegmans, Tops Markets, Albertsons, Kodak, and more. I have also been a client, so I know and empathize with them too.
I enjoy finding the solution to making businesses successful. I LOVE the creative process. I look forward to working collaboratively with all types of people.
Today…I take on all sorts of projects. From small businesses to major corporations. From branding to campaigns. From retail to corporate communications. From product development to business development. Whatever the business needs, I’ll be there and we will be successful together.
